PENDAFTARAN

Mekanisme pendaftaran adalah sebagai berikut :

o Mengisi Formulir Aplikasi yang tersedia secara online pada website PT Indonesia Power mulai tanggal 30 Desember 2008 sampai dengan tanggal 11 Januari 2009 pukul 24.00 wib untuk memperoleh bukti pendaftaran, print-out email balasan dari tim Rekrutmen yang perlu dilampirkan bersama Dokumen Lamaran.

o Setiap kali pelamar berhasil melakukan proses pendaftaran, pelamar akan mendapatkan nomor registrasi dan email balasan secara otomatis. Pastikan bahwa alamat email log in yang Saudara gunakan dalam keadaan aktif dan tidak digunakan untuk registrasi orang lain. Nomor registrasi dari email balasan adalah bukti pendaftaran, bukan merupakan pernyataan lolos seleksi administrasi.

Setiap Pelamar hanya diperkenankan menyampaikan satu Dokumen Lamaran dengan satu nomor registrasi.

Tim Rekrutmen hanya menerima lamaran sesuai mekanisme pendaftaran tersebut di atas dan tidak menerima lamaran dengan format lain.

It aims at improved human resources capacities within the health system and other government institutions in order to deliver better, more patient-centered care supported by proper managerial skills and sound information management. The MIAT project is being implemented Liquica, Bobonaro and Covalima Districts of East Timor .

In December 2006, a survey was conducted to explore the health and nutrition status of pregnant women and children aged under 5 years in 3 border districts of West Timor . This consultancy is a supplementary component of the initial survey, and bulk of the work will involve the analysis of existing data on malaria and nutrition indicators collected during the initial survey in line with the MIAT program objectives. The report on malaria and its impact on the health and nutritional well being of children aged below five years and pregnant women will form the baseline of the MIAT project in the 3 intervention districts of West Timor .

Job Summary

A comprehensive analysis of existing malaria and nutrition data and preparation of the resulting report based on the main areas investigated in the questionnaire with emphasis on the following:
1) Information and knowledge about malaria.
2) Adopted preventive strategy of malaria.
3) Household utilization of mosquito nets.
4) Health seeking behaviour during illness especially suspected clinical malaria.
5) Access to health services.
6) Other analysis and reporting relevant to MIAT project indicators.

Required Outputs:

A detail report including an executive summary; an overview of the applied methodology; an overview of quantitative data ascertained; specific findings and a discussion of the results as they relate to the specific objectives of the ToR.

The final report shall be submitted to CARE International Indonesia by 6 February 2009.



Resources and materials support



This is the home based consultancy and CARE will provide following support to prepare report:



· Raw data of the conducted KAP.

· Nutrition survey reports.

· Access to relevant documents.



Technical qualifications and key competencies



Required:

· Relevant University Degree in Public Health/Epidemiology / Nutrition or equivalent

· Previous experience of conducting surveys and writing reports in English.

· Ability to think structurally and to work independently

Burung Indonesia is a member of BirdLife Global Partnership. It was established on 15 July 2002, as an independent Indonesian non-government organisation, after working for 10 years as the program office of BirdLife International in Indonesia . Burung Indonesia provides opportunities for the public to take practical action to conserve birds and their habitats in Indonesia .



We have immediate vacancy for the Biodiversity Conservation Specialist position (based in Bogor ) with roles and responsibilities to collates and synthesizes information on bird conservation as a basis for strategic priority setting for Burung Indonesia and for dissemination to internal and external audiences. This work ensures that (a) Burung Indonesia’s overall strategy has clear bird conservation goals, (b) Burung Indonesia’s positions and policies on species conservation issues are developed and communicated to target audiences, (c) relevant information on birds and bird conservation is always available to Burung Indonesia staff and partners, (d) key decision makers in Government, Donor agencies and partner organizations are aware of Burung Indonesia’s work in the field of species conservation, (e) Burung Indonesia data and information is represented in key national and international policy and priority setting exercises.



If you are a person who has:

Master degree in biodiversity conservation or bachelor degree in biology with extensive experience in biodiversity conservation; Excellent knowledge of species database, theoretical and practical issues in priority setting; Good experience in analysis to support scientific decision making and political/campaign work; Good implementation of bird and biodiversity survey techniques in the field; Good experience of statistical analysis to estimate populations, planning sampling protocols and analysis; Good experience of statistical analysis of species community diversity and composition; Some experience of writing for popular and scientific audiences important and critical areas for biodiversity conservation in Indonesia; Good understanding on international conventions of biodiversity conservation and related issues; Good experience working and dealing with government particularly with the Department of Forestry, Ministry of Environment and Indonesian Institue of Science (LIPI) is an advantage; Good understanding on forestry and environmental issues; Able to communicate both oral and written in English.
